Yellowstone National Park was established in 1872 with a signature by President Ulysses S. Grant, becoming the first national park in America. It spreads out over three states — Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho — and its the home of a great deal of fascinating wildlife — grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. You’ll find inside its boundaries such national treasures as Old Faithful Geyser, a number of other amazing geysers and hot springs, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

The Yellowstone region has been the home of Native Americans for at least 11,000 years; exploration of the area did not truly begin until the late 1860s, and while the U.S. Army first oversaw the park, control of the area was transferred to the National Park Service in 1917, a service that was created just a year earlier. The park is a place of intense study, with researchers examining more than a thousand archaeological sites.

The natural wonders of the park include Yellowstone Lake, one of the largest high-altitude lakes in North America, which is itself near the center of the Yellowstone Caldera, which is the largest supervolcano on the North American continent. Considered an active volcano, this caldera has erupted several times in the last two million years; most of the geothermal features in Yellowstone — Old Faithful, hot springs, and geysers — are the result of this volcanic system. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is also here, the first large canyon on the Yellowstone River, which is downstream from Yellowstone Falls. This canyon is about 900 feet deep and a half mile wide. The park is also a terrific place for sight-seeing, featuring hundreds of species of mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles, and offers to the visitor incredible scenery as well as opportunities to hike, camp, boat, and fish.

If you’re traveling across the country and looking for one of the best hotels America provides to its motorists, you’ll find it in West Yellowstone, Montana, at the Yellowstone Park Hotel at 201 Grizzly Avenue, just three blocks from the West Entrance of the Yellowstone National Park. By day, you can explore the park; by night, you can take advantage of 32 inch flat screen televisions and an indoor pool.

Where on this planet can you find a place that brings together two passions at once — art and shopping? Singapore provides the answer to this question in the form of Vivocity in the Harbourfront Precinct. Travelers in the hotels of Singapore will discover a building designed by world renowned architect Toyo Ito, in his first major project outside of Japan. Vivocity’s design is meant to evoke the idea of sea waves, and its home to entertainment and shopping businesses, providing an excellent environment in which to relax. As the largest retail center in Singapore, the shopping practically takes care of itself, but what about the art? There are six major works by international artists at Vivocity for its patrons to enjoy.

On the Harbourfront boardwalk, you’ll find a twenty foot tall sphere of flowers by Korea’s Choi Jeong-Hwa. Set among the Promenade’s trees, it brings a great deal of color to its setting. The Flower Tree causes people to stop and almost literally smell the flowers. From the Netherlands, Marc Ruygrok has created Gogo, a thirty-three foot tall rocket, colored a brilliant red, that greets patrons as they enter the parking area of Vivocity. It resembles a rocketship one might find in a science fiction B-movie from the 1950s. Then there’s an elongated Snowman, another tall work at forty-three feet, also on the Promenade, rising high above the second story terrace and looking into the third story Sky Park. Inges Idee from Germany has provided Vivocity with gigantic Snowflakes, each about three feet wide, sitting atop the Sky Park. Combining this art work with that of the Snowman, there’s a curious comment on nature, snowflakes and snowmen sitting in the tropics, the man-made version of these items lasting even in the warm 80 degree heat of Singapore.

If you’re of a more romantic frame of mind, you’ll discover Aphrodite’s Roses, a series of four giant rose blooms that serve as seating for the patrons, designed by Hiroshi Yoshimiza from Japan. The sculpture, There, by Netherland’s Henk Visch, depicts a gymnast going through a work out on a horizontal bar some twenty feet above the water. Finally, you have Vivo Punch, work created by Hong Kong’s Michael Cheung, also known as Punchman. His human-like figures are playful and colorful and add an extra level of energy to the Sky Park. For those engaged in the eternal struggle between art and commerce, they may find a merger of the two at Vivocity.

The dead of winter is full-on in Dayton, Ohio. My family was stuck in our hotel for a whole day, there was a blizzard blowing outside. But, that didn’t deter us the next day from the main reason we were here, to visit the National Museum of the United States Air Force located just an hour’s drive west of Columbus, which is where we live. We weren’t planning on staying the night, but then we weren’t expecting to be in a blizzard either. We were lucky to make it off the interstate all in one piece and lucky to find a hotel in Dayton close to the museum.

My wife wasn’t too thrilled that I took the kids out in a snow storm, but we had Cabin fever real bad, we were all going batty and the kids had that wild eye look on their faces, a look that they were just about ready to tear our home apart! So, I did the only thing I knew how to do, get them and me out of the house.

The museum is free! The exhibits are organized chronologically, beginning with the Wright Brothers and continuing onward up to today: Air Power, Modern Flight, Cold War, Missiles and finally the Space Gallery. My kids thought I was crazy by taking them here, but once they got inside, I lost track of them (don’t tell my wife), they each had their own interest concerning what era of flight they were interested in. My kid’s range from 4 years to 9 years, the younger ones really just enjoyed seeing something new, and didn’t hold their attention for long, and while running and screaming through the museum is discouraged, my kids where just glad to be out of the house, and out of our hotel room.

The layout of the museum is very easy to navigate, and there are guided tours, which are also free of charge. There’s even an Imax theater, a Morphis Movie Ride, a cafe and a gift shop. Actually, there was way too much for us to see in one day. But, at least the change of scenery was hopefully enough to tackle my children’s winter restlessness. The trip to the Air Force Museum in Dayton is the perfect solution for a case of cabin fever.

When TransGlobe Property Management takes care of the needs of their residents, they are not only providing excellent personal care, and taking wonderful management care of the owner’s building, they are also creating a much easy future for themselves. This is the kind of investment that every rental property owner must look for when they are choosing a management team. What this does, is keep people renting, it keeps the units full, and helps to increase long term tenants.

This is a double your money back guarantee. A lot of money must be spent when a tenant moves out of a building. There is often cleaning and renovating to be done, there are new tenants to find while that one unit remains empty. There are many ways to go about ensuring this and one of those ways is by the continued appreciation for and acknowledgment of the tenants. Many high end building managers offer such amenities to their renters such as tickets to the theatre or to sporting events, pickup for dry cleaning and shipping services and gift certificates to restaurants.

This is the definition of a company that goes above and beyond the needs of the tenants as well as those of the owner. This care accomplishes a few things at once, for as previously stated, the tenant remain happy and will move out less, because to be honest, in today’s world how often do businesses really take care of their clients. And another thing that this accomplishes is the creation of a sense of community. Boxes of chocolates on Valentines Day, or cookies at Christmas are simple ways to make people fell good. Some management companies may even create a residential newsletter.

This is a way that all the residents can get to know one another. This is seen just walking down the street of any city, and noticing the differences. In Chicago, people sit out on their front porch stoops most evening during great weather. I knew my neighbors in Chicago, and we all got to the point where we knew each other’s names and left small gifts for each other during the holidays. Living in Los Angeles however, I never met my neighbors, and there were no colorful packages left on people’s doorsteps. For this kind of care with your property, trust TransGlobe Property Management. You will not just own a building, but you will have created a community.

Canada is a lovely place, with fantastic and vast areas of natural splendor, lakes and rivers, oceans, mountains, and everything in between. It is a country that is extremely rich in resources, and one of its great assets is its people. It has been inhabited for thousands of years, and we’re part of many generations to grow up here. At TransGlobe Property Management, we’re part of a larger framework of generations of Canadians, and we hope that we’ll be recognized by the next generation for our own contributions to the neighborhoods.

We’ve been living and working here for over 15 years, and with an excellent reputation for customer service, we like to find ways to give back to the communities that have kept us in business all this time. We participate in many local activities and events, giving resources and time to charitable events, and love to have our vehicles displaying the TransGlobe Property Managment name in the wonderful public parades. These are just some of the ways we like to participate, and like any good work, we get more out of it than we contribute.

These events are constantly teaching us more about the neighborhoods we serve, so we can better understand how we can work with you once you’re living in one of our properties. With our user-friendly database, it’s a fairly easy, and even enjoyable process. We’ve made it simple to find splendid properties for business or residential use, right where you want to be. This is a wonderful part, because it involved lots of daydreaming, thinking about the neighborhood, and working and living in a new environment. With our record of customer service, where we respond immediately, and with great skill, to take care of any problems, you’ll know that you won’t have to worry about the building, so you can focus on living. It’s one of the best parts of our relationship with you, and we’ll continue to serve you as long as you’re with us. We can work together to make the neighborhoods thrive for the generations that will follow us.
